Puddle Ducks Mid-Cheshire have launched swimming lessons at Seashell, a national learning disability charity, based in Cheadle.
The charity provides some of the best equipment and facilities for children and young people with complex learning disabilities and additional communication needs in the country, including a swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool on site allowing children to explore the water and develop swimming skills.
With a great location and facilities, Puddle Ducks Mid Cheshire were keen to provide swimming lessons at the charity. Rachel Bateson of Puddle Ducks Mid Cheshire commented: “By renting the pools from Seashell we are providing vital water safety and lifesaving skills to our customers, whilst also providing an income stream for this amazing charity”.
The new pool launched on Saturday 11th March and Puddle Ducks are excited to be providing the children of Cheadle and nearby areas the opportunity to take part in their classes.
Catering for children from birth to 10 years old, Puddle Ducks focus on creating a nurturing environment, which supports independent swimming for children of all abilities.
