Detectives investigating the rape of a vulnerable woman in Winsford have charged two men.
At around 5am on Sunday 21st December police were called to reports that an 18-year-old woman had been sexually assaulted.
Diyar Mohammed Abdulsalm and Dilgash Adil were later arrested in relation to the allegations.
Following questioning Abdulsalm, 27, and Adil, 31, both of Ledward Street, Winsford, have since been charged with two counts of rape.
The pair, who are both Syrian nationals, have been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday 23rd December.
