Detectives have charged two men with drugs offences following a stop check near to junction 16 of the M6 in Cheshire.
At around 6.30pm on Wednesday 13 December officers stopped a taxi and two passengers were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.
Both men have since been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine) and possession of criminal property.
Saeed Malik, 35, of Malkin Way, Middleport, and Tahir Darr, 29, of Evans Street, Burslem, have both been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Friday 15 December.
