Two people have been charged with drugs offences following a police stop check in the Northwich.
Angela McKay and Carl Tomlinson were both arrested shortly after 4pm on Friday 30 May after officers stopped a white Mazda on Gadbrook Road, Rudheath.
During the arrests, a quantity of illegal drugs was recovered along with two mobile phones and a quantity of cash.
McKay, 50, of Highfield Avenue, Lostock Gralam, and Tomlinson, 43, of Siddall Street Northwich, have both since been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine).
The pair appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Saturday 31st May where they were released on conditional bail.
They are next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 30th June.
