Willington Hall Hotel is continuing to strengthen its position as one of Cheshire’s most welcoming and versatile venues, with a growing calendar of events attracting both local residents and visitors from across the region.
While many people know the beautiful country house hotel for its weddings, celebrations and business events, the team at Willington Hall has been working hard to open its doors to an even wider audience through a variety of community-focused events and gatherings.
One recent success has been the launch of the venue’s Classic Car Club, which has already attracted enthusiasts keen to showcase their vehicles, meet like-minded people and enjoy the stunning surroundings of the hall and its grounds.
The events have proved popular not only with car owners but also with visitors who have welcomed the opportunity to rediscover Willington Hall.
Many guests have commented that they had not visited the venue for years and were delighted to return, explore the grounds, enjoy refreshments and experience the warm welcome for which the hotel has become known.
The events are part of a wider vision by the owners to ensure Willington Hall is a venue for everyone, whether visiting for a wedding, family celebration, business meeting, Sunday lunch, community gathering or special interest group.
A spokesperson for the hotel said:
“We want people to feel that Willington Hall belongs to the community as much as it does to us.
“Many people know us as a wedding venue, which we’re incredibly proud of, but we’re also a place where people can meet, connect, celebrate shared interests and simply enjoy spending time in beautiful surroundings.
“The response to our events has been wonderful. It’s been lovely to welcome familiar faces back through the doors and introduce new visitors to everything the venue has to offer.”
Alongside its growing events programme, Willington Hall continues to welcome guests for dining, with Sunday lunches proving particularly popular. Recent additions to the menu include generous sharing roast platters, designed to bring friends and family together around the table and create a more sociable dining experience.
The venue is also increasingly being used by clubs, societies and special interest groups seeking an attractive and accessible setting for meetings and gatherings, taking advantage of both the hall itself and its picturesque grounds.
As the programme continues to grow, the team hopes to create even more opportunities for local people to visit, enjoy the venue and make Willington Hall part of their regular social calendar.
