A 20-year-old man from Winsford has been charged following an incident in the town.
Lewis Courtney was arrested in Abbots Way at around 9.30am on Saturday 7 November.
He has subsequently been charged with affray and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred in Abbotts Way that morning.
No-one was injured as a result of the incident.
Courtney, of Abbotts Way, appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Monday 9 November, via a video link.
He was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 7 December.
