Officers have charged a Winsford man with drugs offences following successful vehicle stop near Runcorn.
Christopher Pope was arrested at around 1.20pm on Wednesday 21 April after officers stopped grey Ford Focus on Redacre Close in Dutton.
The 38-year-old, of Catalan Close, Winsford, has since been charged with two counts possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine).
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on 22 April.
A 25-year-old man from Dingle, Liverpool, was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
