Miles for Mozambique

Our youth group here at Hurdsfield Church are leading a fundraiser called ‘Miles for Mozambique’. It is walking the length of Mozambique in laps of our church building. (1,430 miles = 22,100 laps of the church).

It will be from 09:00 on Saturday 30th August and aiming to complete by Sunday 12:00 on 31st August.

We are doing it to raise funds for the projects that we support in Mozambique that are run by Tearfund (https://www.tearfund.org) who are a Christian charity we support which partners with churches in more than 50 of the world’s poorest countries to help tackle poverty and injustice through sustainable development.

It is a big challenge and so we really do need help to get as many people involved walking anything from 1 lap to walking for 24 hours. There is more info about the event on our website: https://www.hthmacc.com/m4m.html
