Councillor Sam Corcoran, leader of Cheshire East Council, and Councillor Craig Browne, deputy leader, asked residents to send in their questions about the council for the third ‘Conversation with the Leader and Deputy Leader’ virtual event.
While not all the questions could be answered individually, Councillors Corcoran and Browne address as many of the main themes as possible in two short videos.
The conversation covers:
Part 1
- Pedestrian crossing, The Hill, Sandbach
- Sustainable travel and road safety
- Keeping pavements clear for pedestrians
- Housebuilding and infrastructure
- Broken Cross, Macclesfield
- Macclesfield regeneration
Part 2
- Road maintenance and gritting
- Congleton Link Road
- Peatlands and environmental policies
- Openness and transparency
Thank you to everyone who submitted questions. While we could not answer them all, unanswered questions may be taken forward to future ‘Conversation with the Leader and Deputy Leader’ videos.
