Detectives are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a burglary at a restaurant in Lostock Gralam, Northwich.
Shortly after 1.45am on Monday 10 October a white car derived van pulled over on Manchester Road, near to Jathra restaurant, and two men got out of the vehicle.
The vehicle was then driven onto Fryer Road by a third person.
The two men then gained entry to the restaurant and once inside, a quantity of wine was loaded into the van on Fryer Road before driving off towards the A556 at around 2am.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone with any information which may aid their investigation.
Detective Constable Claire Heatley, of Northwich Beat Team, said: “This investigation is ongoing, and we are currently following a number of lines of enquiry, including CCTV and forensics.
“As part of our enquiries I’m keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and believes they may have witnessed anything suspicious.
“We are aware that a number of cars were driving through the area at the time of the incident and I would urge them to come forward.
“The same goes for anyone with dashcam footage who was driving along Manchester Road, Fryer Road, or the A556, between 1.30am and 2.30am on Monday 10 October and believes that they may have footage of the transit van, or the men involved in the burglary. The same goes for anyone with any CCTV footage.”
