Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a serious collision in Holmes Chapel.
At around 1.50pm on Tuesday 23 April police were called to reports of a collision on the A50 Knutsford Road, in Holmes Chapel.
Officers attended the scene and found there had been a collision between a Grey Ford Transit van which was travelling towards Cranage, and a Silver Peugeot 5008 which was travelling towards Holmes Chapel.
The driver of the Peugeot sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries, they were taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital where they remain at this time.
The driver of the Transit van was uninjured. The road was closed while officers dealt with the incident, it reopened at around 7pm.
Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and as part of the investigation officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any video footage which may aid the investigation.
