Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection to a knifepoint robbery at a convenience store in Winsford.
At around 6pm on Saturday 22 October, a man armed with a knife entered ‘Your Local Convenience’ on High Street.
After entering the store, the man threatened a store worker and demanded cash and alcohol from behind the counter.
He then and fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and as part of the investigation detectives have now released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to.
The man in the CCTV image is around 5’ 11” tall. He was wearing a black Puma hoodie, with a large white logo across the chest, he also had black trousers, black trainers with white soles and a light brown/ orange Burberry scarf covering his face.
Detective Constable Bethany Green, of Northwich CID, said: “This incident has understandably left the store worker extremely shaken up and we are committed to doing all we can to identify the person responsible.
“As part of our ongoing enquiries, we have released CCTV images of a man we believe may have vital information to help our investigation.
