Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to talk to following an attempted burglary in Leighton.
At around 2:55am on Saturday 17 of February police were called to reports of a burglary at property in Leighton.
Officers attended the scene on Phillip Taylor Drive, Leighton, and found that an unknown man had forced entry into the shed at the rear of the property and conducted an untidy search inside. The suspect also attempted access a car parked outside the property.
Nothing was taken, with the suspect fleeing the scene after an alarm was activated.
Officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to this incident.
Justin Taylor from Crewe LPU, said:
“As part of our enquiries, we are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to get in touch with us to help progress our investigation.
“The same goes for anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images as we believe they may hold vital information.
“We would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to get in touch with us.”
