Officers from Crewe Local Policing Unit have charged a woman in relation to multiple shoplifting offences across the town.
Casey Lee, of West Street in Crewe, has been charged with eight counts of shoplifting.
The charges relate to incidents which occurred between Saturday 23rd August and Thursday 4th September, at Asda Express and Asda stores in Crewe.
The total value of the stolen items is more than £1,000.
Lee appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday 8th September, where she was released on conditional bail.
The 34-year-old is set to return to Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday 7th October.
