The family of a man who died following an incident in Northwich have paid tribute to him.
David Eaton, 37, sadly died following an incident at an address in Brook Lane, Northwich, on Saturday 28 September.
Following his death, David’s family said:
“David was a popular, loveable rogue, with a heart of gold.”
Matthew Higgins, of Brook Lane, Northwich, has since been charged with the murder of David.
The 35-year-old appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 1 October and will next appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday 2 October.
He was also charged with a separate count of assaulting an emergency worker.
A 41-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on conditional bail.
