Cheshire businessman and great supporter of Silk 106.9, Cyril (Joe) Henshaw has died peacefully at his home after a long illness. He will be greatly missed by his loving family, friends, colleagues and customers.
As Managing Director of Henshaws Environcare, Joe established the company in 1989 as a coal merchant serving the Macclesfield area. He expanded the company in the nineties, offering a skip hire service. Since that time, Henshaws has developed into a waste management company for Cheshire and employs fifty staff and operates start of the art facilities.
Due to Covid restrictions, a small private funeral will take place on Friday 22nd January 2021.
For those wishing to pay their final respects, Joe's family welcome you to line Moss Lane, Macclesfield on Friday 22nd January, where Joe will pass at around 12:30pm.
We ask that everyone adheres to the social distancing guidelines that are currently in place.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated to support 'Kidneys for Life', a charity that supported Joe throughout his ill health.
