Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident at the play park at Tatton Park in Knutsford.
On 30 March at 3.45pm police received a report of an alleged assault on a nine-year-old boy at Tatton Park.
Officers attended and located all parties.
As a result of the investigation a woman has been interviewed under caution and enquiries are on-going to establish the full circumstances.
PC John Millman said:
“The park was very busy that day with lots of visitors. I’m very keen to hear from anyone who was there that day in the play park around 3.45pm and saw any incident between a boy and a female.”
