Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following an assault in Macclesfield.
At around 3.30am on Sunday 25 December 2022, a 28-year-old man was in Pop World on Pickford Street when he and another man bumped into each other in the bar area.
As they continued onto the dancefloor the suspect grabbed the victim and bit part of his ear off.
The victim went to hospital to be treated for his injury.
Detective Constable Steve Kaminski, of Macclesfield CID, said: “This investigation is ongoing and as part of our enquiries we’re keen to speak to the man in the footage.
“I’d urge anyone who recognises this man or has any information that may help with our investigation to contact police. The same goes for the man in the CCTV.”
