Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Congleton.
At around 1.43am on Saturday 7 October an 18-year-old man standing outside Valleys takeaway in Hight St when he was approached by a man who assaulted him with a pint glass, causing serious facial injuries.
The suspect then made off along High St in the direction of 3D Nightclub.
DC Lauren Thatcher said:
“I’d urge anyone who saw the assault or who recognises the man in the CCTV to contact us so that we can progress with our enquiries.”
