Cheshire based charity, David Lewis, received a visit from one of their Patrons, Her Royal Highness (HRH) The Countess of Wessex.
During her visit The Countess of Wessex officially re-opened the charity's school providing special education for young people with special educational needs aged 11-19 to reach their full potential and aspirations.
The visit also allowed HRH a tour around the charity's top farm development, meeting a number of donors, supporters and partners from local authorities, academia and the NHS.
David Lewis is one of the largest care providers in Cheshire that offer education, residential, clinical, and therapeutic support for people with learning disabilities, epilepsy and autism and other complex support needs.

As well as providing Education for young people, at its college and school, David Lewis also provides residential services at its site in Great Warford, near Alderley Edge as well as throughout Cheshire. David Lewis also provides a range of day opportunities including an accessible farm, doggy grooming parlour, shop, café, arts crafts and other sensory based services. These opportunities offer people supported by David Lewis to experience working in a retail environment, providing two fantastic social hubs for the stunning countryside site.

The charity also provides many opportunities for people they support to engage in nature, farming, animal care, environmental sustainability projects, horticulture, woodcraft, sensory experiences and much more!
