Cheshire East Council is inviting residents to sign up to receive Covid-19 information updates direct to their email inbox.
The COVID-19 newsletter updates will enable the public to see the latest news on the restrictions, along with any important updates from government or key changes to our area. It will also contain helpful NHS information and support advice and guidance for people as the pandemic continues.
Councillor Sam Corcoran, leader of Cheshire East Council, said: “As the pandemic continues and we continue to see positive cases of COVID-19 in our borough, having the latest information and guidance is key to knowing what we can and can’t do in Cheshire East.
“Signing up for this information directly to your email inbox is another positive action that members of our community can take and will empower you to know what is happening locally.”
Councillor Amanda Stott, Cheshire East Council’s cabinet member with responsibility for customer services and communications, said: “This is a brand new service for our residents and is the start of a journey to offering updates from the council direct to your email on topics that you care about.
“I would urge anyone to sign-up if they would like to keep up to date on the latest news and information from the council and the pandemic. As we all know the messages can change rather quickly during a live pandemic but at least this way you will have a consistent update that aims to explain what’s happening locally.”
You can sign-up for the COVID-19 email updates by visiting the council’s subscribe pages.
