Taste Cheshire, the definitive guide to Food and Drink across Cheshire and We Love Good Times, Cheshire’s no1 online Lifestyle magazine have teamed up with Cheshire software provider QBunk to help find a way for the hospitality industry to get back trading in a safe and efficient fashion.
Both Taste Cheshire CEO, Stephen Wundke and WLGT Proprietor, Izzy Grey have operated in the hospitality trade for many years across Cheshire and they are now putting their years of experience to good use in seeking out best practice solutions for when the hospitality sector can begin trading. The first partnership is with Liverpool and Cheshire based start-up, QBunk, as Stephen Wundke explains “We know from the recent surveys we conducted that the public are desperate to get back to visiting their local pub or restaurants and we also know that safe practice is going to be vital. QBunk has a product that allows people to sit at their table and both order and pay for drinks and food by accessing menus on their phone. It is a brilliant system and will revolutionise how we do business. We are very excited to have this product available for Cheshire businesses.”
Izzy Grey believes this is a game changer “The QBunk system is so easy to use and it brings about a safer environment, no more waiting for waiters and waitresses to come to your table, you simply place your order and pay for it and then the food and drink is delivered to your table. This cuts down on the need for more staff interaction, ensures all beverages are served in time order and it creates a significantly safer environment with no need for menus or drinks lists to be circulating amongst customers”
Whilst both Izzy Grey and Stephen Wundke have trialled the system and are delighted with its functionality there was better news still for hard pressed local businesses as QBunk CEO, Paul Wilson explained “ Thank to the canvassing of We Love Good Times and Taste Cheshire the use of our system for 6 months for the first 200 businesses who sign up will be FREE. This will give all businesses the opportunity to test the system whilst providing a safe environment for their customers. We want to do our bit to help Cheshire get back up and running and we believe this is an important step for the industry”
Izzy Grey was delighted with the offer. “It has been a terrible time for the sector and its probable it will be amongst the last to come out of this lockdown, so to be able to secure so many free places for businesses to use a system that we believe will make a big difference for customers is a real boost at just the right time. Our aim is to give the sector choices as to when they can and can’t re-open and QBunk helps with that decision making.
For more information or to become one of the 200 businesses to go to www.qbunk.uk and ensure you use the code TC200 to get your free 6 months trial.
