A youth has been charged in connection with the death of a man over the weekend.
A 15 year-old boy has been charged by Cheshire Police with murder following an incident in Macclesfield on Sunday evening.
Officers found a 37 year-old man with serious injuries on Becks Lane, who sadly died at the scene. The teenager was arrested and has been remanded in custody to appear before Crewe Magistrates today.
The victim's next of kin have been informed of the death, and are being supported by specialist officers according to a police spokesperson.
No further details have released regarding the deceased at this time.
A 29-year-old man, from Macclesfield, who was also detained in connection to the events, has been released on conditional bail.
