Police have arrested three people and seized a quantity of illegal drugs following a partnership drugs warrant.
At around 3pm today, Friday 3 March, officers from Cheshire Police and British Transport Police conducted a warrant at an address on on Moss Lane, Macclesfield.
While searching the properties officers discovered a quantity of Class A and B drugs and a large amount of cash.
Two men, aged 41 and 39, and a woman were arrested at the address on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs.
Sergeant Matt Bassirat, of Macclesfield Local Policing Unit, said: “This operation is the result of a joint investigation by Cheshire Police and British Transport Police into county lines drug dealing in the Macclesfield area.
“As a results of our partnership work we’ve been able to removed a large amount of cannabis and cocaine from the street of Macclesfield.
“Action such as this shows how we are continuing in the fight against illegal drugs in our community and will continue to do all we can to disrupt these criminals.”
