Two people have been arrested following a warrant at an address in Macclesfield.
At around 6.30am on Friday 14 July, officers from Macclesfield South Beat Management Team conducted a warrant on Parkgate Road.
A quantity of drugs and cash were seized, along with high value items, including two vehicles.
A 37-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of possession of criminal property and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
They both remain in custody at this time.
Sergeant Matthew Bassirat said:
“This operation targeted those believed to be involved in drug activity and has allowed us to successfully seize a quantity of illegal drugs.
“I hope that these arrests provide some reassurance to the community that we are doing all we can to stop those believed to be involved in this behaviour.
“I would urge anyone who spots the signs of criminal activity to contact us on 101 or via our website.”
