The Wilmslow Running Festival organisers have issued a coronavirus update, ahead of tomorrow's event.
The organisers said: "We have taken all advice on board to make the event day as safe as possible. Please help us by adhering to the following.
"Registration will be outside, avoiding closed-in spaces. The start will be spread out and staged in smaller groups.
"All marshals will be wearing latex gloves. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell - runners and supporters.
"Please be respectful of each other's space throughout the event. Avoid dropping litter/unwanted items on the ground - reducing the manual handling for volunteers."
For those not wishing to attend free deferrals for next year will be accepted via the contact form on the website, wilmslowrunningfestival.org.uk/
Runners can complete the race virtually by March 31 and collect a goody bag from Running Bear in Alderley Edge.
