Apprenticeships are proving increasingly valuable to the modern economy to address skills gaps and increase social mobility. What’s more, people of any age are turning to an apprenticeship as their next career step.

In 2023, two thirds (67%) of new apprentices at Amazon were aged 25 and over, an increase of 10% year on year in the number of people looking to change their careers, highlighting that apprenticeships are not just for the school-leavers.
