At around 8.51am on Sunday 16th November, police were called to reports of a collision on junction 19 of the M6 northbound, near Knutsford.
Officers attended the scene and found that the collision involved a blue Volkswagen Caravelle and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the collision has been launched and enquiries are ongoing to confirm the identity of the pedestrian.
