Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Knutsford.
At 8.28pm on Saturday 15 April a green Jaguar Sovereign car and a blue Scania horsebox were in a collision on the Mobberley Road, Knutsford near the social club.
The driver of the car, a 39-year-old man from Macclesfield, sadly died at the scene. Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by police.
The driver of the horsebox, and the horse were uninjured.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision as well as any dashcam footage that may assist in the investigation.
