Detectives are appealing for information following an arson attack at a pub in Winsford.
A report of a fire was received at around 5.10am on Friday 16 April at the Old Star pub on Swanlow Lane
One man was assessed by paramedics on scene but did not require hospital treatment.
Police are now appealing for anyone who may have any information in relation to the incident to get in touch.
Detective Sergeant Rob Astbury said: “I would like to reassure the public that incidents such as this are rare in this area and we are doing everything possible to find those responsible.
“Following initial enquiries we are treating this incident at arson and are eager to hear from anyone who may have information on who is responsible.
“A number of enquiries are ongoing and I am keen to speak to anyone who may have CCTV footage or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
“The same goes to anyone who may have witnessed something which did not look quite right.”
