Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage after a number of homes and vehicles were damaged in Knutsford.
At around 12.30am on Thursday 24th July, officers were called to reports of an incident on Hamman Drive, Knutsford.
Officers attended and on arrival they found that a number of windows had been smashed on homes and several cars had also been damaged.
Residents reported that the damage was caused by unknown offenders, who were all described as wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.
The are believed to have been travelling in a Ford Focus, which fled the scene towards Mobberley.
Enquiries in relation to the incidents are ongoing and officers are urging anyone with any information to come forward.
Inspector Richard Haque, of Macclesfield Local Policing Unit, said:
“I understand the concern these incidents are likely to cause, and I’d like to reassure residents that we’re committed to doing all we can to identify the people responsible.
“As part of our ongoing enquiries we’re keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incidents, or anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage which may aid the investigation.
“I’d ask anyone with any information, no matter how small, to get in touch.”
