Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision in Holmes Chapel.
At around 3.25pm on Tuesday 2 August, police were called to reports of a one vehicle collision on the B5308 Middlewich Road, near to the junction of Bank Farm Grove.
On arrival officers found that a Grey Toyota Aygo, traveling towards Holmes Chapel, had come off the road and collided with foliage.
Sadly, the driver of the vehicle, a 54-year-old man from Wilmslow, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone with any dashcam footage which may aid the investigation.
