Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are urging anyone with any information to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Kate Palin, from Northwich CID, said:

“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone with any information about the incident to come forward.
“The same goes for anyone with any video footage that may aid our investigation.
"Similarly, if you have seen similar incidents in the area, but haven't reported it to police, please get in touch.
