Detectives are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a robbery in Wilmslow.
At around 12.15pm on Thursday 16 December, a delivery driver parked his white Ford transit van on Knutsford Road, near to Ashdene Road, to deliver a parcel to a nearby address.
As he returned to his vehicle a second white van, which was described as dirty, pulled up at the side at of the road.
An unknown man then exited the van and threatened the delivery driver demanding that he handed over his keys.
The victim complied with the offender and both vans then drove off from the scene.
The stolen van was subsequently recovered in a field on Chelford Road, Alderley Edge.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone with any information that may aid the investigation.
Detective Constable Jamie Roberts, who is leading the investigation, said: “Knutsford Road is a busy road and we’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and may have witnessed anything suspicious.
“The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage which may aid our investigation.
“I’d urge anyone with any information, no matter how small, to contact the team here at Macclesfield.”
