Detectives are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a series of thefts from motor vehicles in the Northwich.
Sometime between 1am and 3.30am today, Tuesday 11 November, two unknown offenders forced entry into at least seven vehicles in Winnington urban village.
These included vehicles parked outside homes on Gibson Close, Bellevue Street, Bishops Way Jubilee Crescent, Dahlia Crescent, and Violet Grove.
Several items were stolen, including golf clubs, power tools and cash.
Detective Sergeant John Lyons, of Northwich Proactive CID, said:
“This investigation is in the early stages, and we’re committed to doing all that we can to trace the people responsible.
“From our initial enquiries we believe that thefts were all conducted by two men who were wearing dark clothing, who are likely to have travelled to the area in an unknown vehicle.
“Therefore, I would ask residents in the area to check their CCTV and doorbell footage to see if they have any video footage which may aid our investigation.“We’re also keen to hear from anyone who was in the area on the night and believes they may have witnessed anything suspicious.
