Buxton Opera House has today announced their spellbinding 2026 pantomime - Sleeping Beauty - bursting with laughter, festive magic and fun for the whole family.
The production will run from Friday 4th Dec 2026 – Saturday 2nd Jan 2027.
Written and directed by Paul Kerryson and brought to life by the team behind Aladdin (2025), Jack and the Beanstalk (2024), and Cinderella (2023), this enchanting production is guaranteed to make your Christmas sparkle!
Sleeping Beauty will include Relaxed, Audio Described, Captioned, and British Sign Language Interpreted performances throughout the run, ensuring that everybody can enjoy the magic of live theatre.

When the Princess falls under a wicked curse and into a 100-year slumber, her happily-ever-after seems lost forever. But with the help of a handsome Prince, a good fairy, and plenty of panto mischief, can true love’s kiss save the day?
