Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to in relation to an incident in Macclesfield.
At around 11:13am on Friday 12 January, officers responded to reports of shoplifting at the B&M Bargains store at Barracks Mill Retail Park, Macclesfield.
During the incident, an unknown man has exited the store without paying for a substantial quantity of cleaning products.
The man is described as white, with short dark brown hair, and short facial hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black/dark blue jumper, blue jeans, and brown boots.
Officers have now released a CCTV image of the man they would like to speak to in relation to this incident.
Sergeant Matthew Bassirat, of Macclesfield Local Policing Unit, said:
“Enquiries are currently ongoing and as part of our investigation; we would like to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image.
“If anyone recognises this man, please contact us via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or call 101, quoting IML-1733058.“I would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to come forward.”
