Detectives investigating the theft of a number of historic stones, from outside an address near Macclesfield, have released some CCTV images.
At around 7.20am on Wednesday 5 February, two white vans parked up outside an address on London Road, Adlington.
A number of men then got out of the vehicles and proceeded to take 23 stone flag stones from around the property. The stolen stones are believed to be worth around £1000.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers have released CCTV images of four men they are looking to speak to as part of the investigation.
PC Jonathan Lightfoot said:
“Enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing and we’re committed to doing all we can to identify the people responsible.
“As part of our investigation we’re keen to identify the four men in the CCTV images as they may hold vital information.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who was travelling through the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident or have any dashcam footage of the theft.”
