The Alzheimer’s Society is inviting fundraisers from across Cheshire to get their whisks at the ready to bake a difference for people affected by dementia from 25th April to 1st May.
There’s nothing like cake to bring people together. Whether you organise a bake stall with colleagues, share a slice with friends or family for a great cause or have a ‘bake-off’ with loved ones, you will be raising vital dough to help beat dementia.
There’s never been a more important time for Cheshire residents to turn up the heat on dementia. People affected by the condition have been worst hit by coronavirus and Alzheimer’s Society’s services, including the Dementia Connect support line, have been used more than six million times since the start of the pandemic. Two years on, Alzheimer’s Society continues to be flooded with calls from people with the condition and their loved ones seeking vital support. By becoming a legend in the baking, you can help Alzheimer’s Society continue to fund vital research, campaign for change and provide support.
