Award-winning Cheshire homecare and supported living care provider, Compassionate Care Group, is on a mission to recruit staff across the Knutsford area.
With a desperate need for care in and around the town, the company, which is based in Ashley, near Knutsford, is working alongside Cheshire East to get people out of hospital and safely back at home.
Founder, Executive Chairwoman and Knutsford resident, Amanda Stoneham commented: “It’s worrying to see how many people are still stuck in hospital or back at home without any sort of care package and we’re urgently looking to assemble a local team of Knutsford-based community support workers. There’s an amazing community spirit in Knutsford and I know that as a town, we can pull together and tackle the problem head on. Whether you’re looking for a new job or fancy a change of career, care is a hugely rewarding sector and it’s a great opportunity to give something back to those in your areas who need support. This is your chance to be a local hero…and get paid for it!”
Compassionate Care Group is offering a welcome bonus of £750 to new staff, as well as a wage of £11.50 per hour, plus mileage and all the usual benefits.
“We’re keen to employ local people, with local knowledge and we pride ourselves on paying our staff well and looking out for their best interests. If you’re stuck in traffic for an hour in between jobs, we’ll make sure that you’re paid for your time,” says Amanda, who has lived in Knutsford for seven years. “Although Knutsford is our main area of interest, we’d also be very happy to hear from candidates in the Mobberley, Ashley, Peover and Plumley areas.”
In 2020, Compassionate Care Group celebrated its 10th anniversary. From humble beginnings in 2010, with Amanda as the company’s sole employee, to the thriving business it is today, Compassionate Care has grown significantly over the last 12 years. The company now employs 116 carers and 33 office-based staff and is looking to expand further and grow in the Knutsford area.
Amanda added: “We pride ourselves on delivering the quality of service that both our clients and their families deserve. It’s so important that family members have peace of mind and can relax, safe in the knowledge that their loved ones are receiving the best care possible. Our rapidly expanding team is fully dedicated to the around-the-clock coordination of the physical, mental and emotional needs of all of our clients, and our greatest reward is delivering the highest quality care with the utmost compassion to those who need it most.”
