At a time when many businesses are being forced to close branches and reduce their presence, Business Network International are creating a new business referrals group in the Congleton area.
The weekly meetings will held at The Swettenham Arms with a start time of 10.30am which will suit mothers who are business women.
They tend to be rushed off their feet first thing in the morning so networking over breakfast is not always ideal.
The BNI equivalent of a branch is called a chapter and the new Saltline Chapter, meeting on Wednesdays, will be officially launched at the restaurant and pub renowned for its stunning lavender field on Friday November 3.
Dave Skeels is the Cheshire East Executive Director for BNI and he said:
“With so many more people working remotely, this is an in-person opportunity to meet potential clients, collaborators and mentors in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
“Business starts with people meeting other people whether you are just starting out or you are a seasoned entrepreneur.
“To help drive business forward this is the chance to engage in meaningful conversations, exchange business ideas and create valuable connections, building the Know, Like and Trust values.
“Those connections are worldwide. As an organisation we have members from 77 countries of all backgrounds and business sectors.
“BNI is where local businessmen and women reach out to a global network and help fuel the £60m of business generated for our members in the Cheshire East region.”
One of the driving forces behind Saltline Chapter is Harry Heath, a BNI Director Consultant and Founder of his own business XO Fleet.
He said:
“We are proud of the location within the stunning surroundings of The Swettenham Arms, one of the most iconic venues in the Congleton area.
“BNI has been a phenomenal support to me and my business since I joined last year.
“I’m thrilled that in the lead-up to our official launch, Saltline members who have already signed up are passing and receiving game-changing referrals and reporting increases in revenue.”
Among the founder members is property expert Debbie Boardman from The home movement, who is Chapter President.
Debbie said:
“I am blown away that BNI Saltline has asked me to step into the role of president. It is an honour and a pleasure.
“We are all looking forward to this group becoming a centre of business excellence in the local community.”
