Detectives investigating the assault of a 51-year-old man on Market Street in Congleton have charged four people in connection to the incident.

The four teenagers have been charged with assault, for more details visit –

The four teenagers were all arrested following the assault of a man on Market Street, Congleton, on Saturday 12 February 2022.

They have since been charged with the following offences –

Liam Doolan, 18, of St Johns Road, Biddulph – Charged with section 18 assault and section 47 assault
16-year-old boy from Congleton – Charged with section 18 assault
15-year-old girl from Congleton – Charged with section 47 assault
14-year-old boy from Congleton – Charged with section 47 assault

All four teenagers are currently on bail and are set to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Monday 6 February.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested and has since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
