The newly refurbished Macclesfield Leisure Centre will be having an open day on 24th July offering FREE fitness activities for the whole family to enjoy!
The day will mark a celebration of the recent investment made into the facility which includes an extended gym, new indoor group cycling studio, new family swim changing village, refurbished fitness class studios and a spa and sauna area.
The open day will include FREE fitness classes including Zumba, Yoga, Les Mills, Group Cycling and more!
Between 12pm- 5pm people will also be able to attend FREE gym sessions, taking a tour of the brand new top of the range Technogym equipment which includes an Omnia 8 functional training rig and a variety of cardiovascular and strength equipment.
The expert personal trainers and health and fitness advisors will be on hand to support you in your workouts and talk about your fitness goals after lockdown.
Macclesfield, is also now home to one of the only BioCircuit studio’s in England which is based on revoluntionary aerospace technology BIODRIVE, offering a safe and effective workout to suit all needs.
Family activities such as facepainting, sports day games and competitions will be available from 9am-11am in the Sports Hall.
In the morning, Everybody Sport and Recreation’s TODD the Tiger mascot will be taking on a penalty shoot out against Cheshire Police’s mascot Panda and Silk 106.9’s Cheshire Cat – come and have a go to see if you can score and win a medal!
In the afternoon, free Gymnastics taster sessions will be delivered by Macclesfield Gymnastics from 1pm.
Dominic Crisp, Head of Leisure Operations at Everybody Sport and Recreation commented, “We can’t wait to be opening up our facilities to the people of Macclesfield on 24th July. It will be the first open day of the summer for our leisure centres following the easing of restrictions. It will be a great celebration of not only our recently refurbished facilities but also welcoming back more of our community into their local leisure centre to have fun and enjoy getting active!”
There will also be EXCLUSIVE membership joining offers available and tours of the brand new refurbished leisure centre with a free goody bag for the first 50 new Everybody members to sign up on the day!
