Carefound Home Care Wilmslow is once again bringing the local community together with a charity football match at the Leasing.com Stadium, this time in aid of Alzheimer's Society.
Following the huge success of last year’s Kick4Parkinsons event, which saw care professionals from Carefound Home Care take on Macclesfield Ladies Football Club and raise over £2,000 for Parkinson’s UK, the team is back with a new challenge, Kick4Alzheimers.
The event will take place on Sunday, 20th July 2025, at Macclesfield FC’s Leasing.com Stadium. Gates will open at 12:30pm, with kick-off scheduled for 1:30pm. All members of the community are welcome to come along and enjoy a family-friendly afternoon of sport, entertainment, and fundraising.
There will be a competitive one-hour football match played on the club’s 4G pitch, with food and refreshments available from the bar. Attendees can also take part in a raffle, with prizes generously donated by Lancashire Cricket Club, Avro Golf Club, Hickory’s Smokehouse, Macclesfield FC, and other local businesses.

“We’re really looking forward to hosting our annual football event at Macclesfield FC. Last year was lots of fun and it’s always great to be able to push ourselves out of our comfort zones for a great cause. A significant amount was raised last year, and we hope to have the same success for Alzheimer’s Society this year.”

All proceeds will go to Alzheimer’s Society, which supports people living with dementia and funds vital research into its causes, treatment and prevention.
