Sean Kelly, who is a local historian, is conducting some research into the Manchester-based Goslings AFC who played against The Silkmen.
In particular, Sean is interested in the period between 1939 and 1950 when Goslings faced The Silkmen on numerous occasions - particularly within the Manchester League.
Sean contacted Macclesfield Town to request some help in this and they were more than happy to direct him to the brilliant Silkmen Archives website, as well as posting an appeal on our official site.
