Police officers have charged a man and a woman following the death of a baby in Macclesfield.
At 5.08am on Tuesday 21 July police were called to an address in Berwick Close, Macclesfield, following reports of a unresponsive 12-week-old baby.
The girl was taken to hospital where she sadly passed away.
Anthony Miley, 32, and Stephanie Shore, 32, from Berwick Close, have been charged with causing the death of a child.
They appeared in court on Friday 24 July and were remanded into custody to appear in court at a later date.
