Detectives have arrested a man in relation to the supply of cocaine following a drugs raid in Northwich.
The 40-year-old was arrested on Friday 14 July on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs following a warrant at an address on London Road.
During the raid officers recovered a number of items, including three mobile phones, a quantity of class A drugs, a large amount of cash and other drugs paraphernalia.
The suspect has since been released on conditional bail until Friday 6 October.
Following the warrant Detective Constable Claire Heatley, of Northwich Proactive Policing Unit, said:
“This warrant was conducted as part of our ongoing fight against the supply of illegal drugs in the Northwich area.
“As a result of the actions taken, we have been able to remove a quantity of illegal drugs from the town and seize approximately £3,000 cash.
“The impact of drugs is well known, and I hope that this arrest provides reassurance to the community that we are doing all we can to stop those believed to be involved in this behaviour."
Information from the public is vital and I’d urge anyone with any information in relation to drug-related activity in their community to get in touch.
