A 57-year-old man has been banned from street drinking and from several convenience stores across Crewe.
Stephen Taylor, of Coleridge Way, Crewe, was handed Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 18 March, following an application by Crewe Beat Team.
The CBO lasts for three years and under the order, the 57-year-old has been banned from entering the Grand Junction Retail Park and Crewe Town Centre for three years.
Taylor, has also been banned from being drunk in a public place and from being in possession of an open alcohol container or consuming alcohol in a public place.
PC Justin Taylor said:
“Taylor was causing issues for visitors and staff alike with his repeated anti-social behaviour. With the help of staff and residents affected by his behaviour we were able to take action by building up enough evidence to obtain the order.
“If he is caught breaching this order he faces the risk of being sent to prison.
“Our team of officers will continue, with the help of the public and local businesses, to prevent and deter behaviour that negatively affects our communities.”
