A man who was arrested following reports of an attempted burglary in Winsford has now been charged.
At around 12.10am on Tuesday 17th March, officers from Northwich Local Policing Unit were called to reports of an attempted burglary at an address on Saxon Crossway.
Officers swiftly attended the address, and a man was arrested outside the property.
Stephen Poole, of Stephenson Walk in Winsford, has since been charged with one count of attempted burglary and one count of theft.
The 34-year-old has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court later today, Wednesday 18th March.
