A man has pleaded guilty to drugs offences following a warrant in Winsford.
On Wednesday 29 June, officers executed a drug warrant at an address on Pinewood Road.
During the warrant, officers recovered 155 wraps of heroin and 238 wraps of crack cocaine. A black Skyjet motorcycle was also seized by officers during the warrant.
Michael Edwards, of Pinewood Road, was arrested in connection with drug offences.
The 35-year-old was subsequently charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine).
Edwards appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 30 June, where he pleaded guilty to the offences.
He has since been remanded into custody and is due to be sentenced at Chester Crown Court on Friday 29 July.
Police Constable Matthew Uren said: “I hope that our efforts executing these drug warrants act as a warning to dealers in the Cheshire area and to those crossing the County Lines.
“Illegal drugs can have a devastating impact on the whole community.
“We are doing all we can to stop drug activity on our streets to make our community a safer place, while also making it extremely difficult for these offenders to operate.
“We will always act on any information about drug activity provided to us and would urge anyone who believes this activity is happening near to them to get in touch.”
